Rafalson is a photographer and video artist, born in the former USSR (today's Russia), with roots from Ukraine and Belarus, grow up in Israel and a currently based in Brooklyn. She exhibited a two-person show at Yi Gallery (2023 Brooklyn), 062 Gallery (2020 Chicago), and a solo show at The Sixth Israel Photography Festival (2018). She exhibited in group shows at Filter Photo, Chicago (2021), Expo Chicago (2022), Terrain Biennial, Chicago (2021), Mana Contemporary (2021), Jindřichohradecka Museum, České Budějovice, Czech Republic (2023).
She is a recipient of the Open Portfolio Review: Outstanding Project award at the Israel Photography Festival (2017) and the James Weinstein Memorial Fellowship (2019-2020), she participated in Chuquimarca, Tanda, Chicago (2023) and NARS residency, Brooklyn (2022).
She holds an MFA from SAIC, Chicago (2018-2020) and a BFA from Hadassah College, Jerusalem, Israel (2009-2013)
